It is this principle of helping without condition that characterises the inspiring work of His Eminence Dzogchen Rinpoche.

The word "shenpen" comes from the Tibetan "shen la phen pa" which literally means, "to bring benefit to others". Since 2003, Shenpen has been established in America, Australia, France, Germany, Holland, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Through its many activities, Shenpen helps preserve the unique cultural and spiritual heritage of Tibet. The international teaching programmes of His Eminence the 7th Dzogchen Rinpoche, are hosted by Shenpen. The programmes provide a precious opportunity for people to connect with the Dharma, allowing Shenpen to support His Eminence in upholding the authentic Dzogchen lineage.

Shenpen is a non-political, non-profit organisation, and although its principles are rooted in the teaching of the Buddha to help and not harm, it is also non-religious. It strives to serve people of all castes, religions, and social or political backgrounds without prejudice.
